Where I Find Myself

Why is it that the more desire I have to find other like-minded individuals, others who at least believe some of what I believe, most particularly in NO GODS, I, instead, find myself surrounded by religious, some devout, folks. There are times I feel I'm drowning; I'm not free to express certain feelings for fear of offending. C'mon, c'mon! Why is it okay, socially acceptable, for believers to freely speak their gab among one another in my presence, and I not have the 'freedom' to say hey! you're offending me with that talk! And would those believers then speak up and say Yes, you are right, it's not respectful, not fair, not not not...? I think not.
